She is an 11th-generation daughter of New Hampshire farmers, who settled on their homestead in the 1630s, cultivating that same land for nearly 400 years. She is our go-to source for details about 1960s’ tractors and farm equipment, agricultural practices and seasonal tasks, tools, even kitchen utensils, appliances and wood stoves. She raised her three children with Tawny, and 30 years later was the voice of the audiobook. This is a project dear to her farmgirl heart.
