John is a 1990 graduate of Columbia Law School; he registers our trademarks and copyrights, and oversees all legal documents generated by CarnerTales LLC. He has worked for various New York firms as a litigator in the fields of securities, insurance, and labor and employment law. In solo practice, he emphasizes trusts and estates, environmental land use; elder, landlord, tenant issues, and criminal law. He appears regularly in New York Supreme Court, as well as Federal Court in the Southern District. He is also an actor and cabaret performer, who co-owns an orchard in NY’s Hudson Valley. Many years ago he read Chas Carner’s Tawny and the story has moved him ever since. He is thrilled to be part of this organization, with its messages of nonviolence, empathy, optimism and hope.
