Director of Digital Strategy
Carner Derron has nearly a decade of blended agency and in-house marketing experience. As Director of Digital Strategy, she advises CarnerTales on its website and other media channels, aligning business priorities with marketing opportunities. Outside of her consulting role with the artist collective, Carner is Director of Marketing Strategy for the agency Top Fox. There, she leads strategy across its business-to-business client portfolio. Back in 2020, she was recruited to the global nonprofit the Aspen Institute to build up and lead the brand and marketing functions of its tech-focused Aspen Digital program. Prior to that, she managed major nonprofit and corporate social good clients, like Nespresso and PwC, at the world’s second largest communications firm, Weber Shandwick. Carner’s superpower is tapping into what makes an organization special to its most loyal users and then replicating that spark in new audiences. She has a BA in History from Vassar College. A longtime Colorado resident, Carner spends much of her free time exploring the Rocky Mountains.
