As a child, Chas Carner was inspired by Benjamin Franklin’s aphorisms and started writing his own. Now, 60 years later, he and artist Hani Shihada combine their words and images in a traditional and shareable form, and in many languages.

OneThoughts is a postcard book aiming to inspire optimism and reflection. This first volume includes 20 uniquely illustrated postcards featuring aphorisms on life, empathy, change, and resilience, each translated into multiple languages, making the messages accessible globally. The cards are perforated for easy removal, and the artwork balances Carner's thought-provoking phrases with Shihada's visually diverse designs. This volume is the beginning of a planned series, blending Carner’s knack for impactful words with Shihada's artistic interpretations, creating a collectible experience of universal inspiration.
